Two months after the defeat of California’s Proposition 37, Washington State is ready to take up the battle again with their proposal of Initiative I-522.
If the signatures receive validation from the Washington Secretary of State office, I-522 will go to the legislature, which can (1) pass the Initiative (2) do nothing, which sends it to the ballot, or (3) pass an alternative, in which case both versions go on the ballot.
