The Gates Foundation’s support of Monsanto and Genetically Engineered crops as a means to fight world hunger is again under scrutiny in this recently published article. The author notes that Gates has owned over 500,000 shares of Monsanto stock, which is an obvious conflict of interest, and questions the motives behind the promotion of GE crops in Africa.
